Experience the Sanctity of Spiritual Engagement with the Divine

Aligning with Life and Life Purpose

Understanding the ultimate reality that the essence of our life is predicated on our life purpose is key to being able to live out our lifetime in peace and provide us with a poignant sense of fulfillment and joy. Life purpose is the pervasive sense of who we are in this particular existence and what we have chosen to do this time around for our own spiritual development and what God has asked us to achieve in the world this time around. It is our raison d’etre, our reason for being in the world at this time and place.

The true purpose of life is to creatively express the uniqueness of our souls in the greater context of the human experience. There is a divine imperative to be manifested in

the course of our lives for our own benefit as well as for the development of humanity, as the community of souls put here to elevate the consciousness of earth. We as a race are not only the guardians of creation, we are meant to be the spiritual mentors of the planet and contribute to the raising of earthly consciousness through our own spiritual evolution.

If we live our lives in direct alignment with our own being, our lives and purpose are one.

Our life purpose is not a singular event. It is a divine constant that underlies and guides the entire course of our existence as we navigate the vicissitudes and the triumphs of our lifetime. Life purpose is not something that we have to find and define, but rather something that sustains our entire experience of life. Life purpose is not a Holy Grail to be sought, but a dynamic, foundational light within the soul to be synchronized with, consciously or subliminally. That is the quest we shall be on. It is the theme and direction of this High Holy Day season.

Our High Holiday services will be comprised of roughly equal components of prayer (traditional and original liturgy, focused meditations, contemplation and chanting) and study (teachings, discussion, Q & A, drashot and stories).

I invite all of you to join me during this sacred season on a powerful journey of Self-exploration and inner alignment with the power of your own being.

Our Services will be held at the La Quinta Inn, 920 University Ave. Berkeley, CA.

Learn the Secrets of Kabbalistic Meditation;
 A NEW E-BOOK

The Meditation Practice within Kabbalah is a carefully structured guide for a meditation practice designed to train people to reach higher levels of consciousness and evolving spirituality. Since Kabbalah is universal in its approach, its practices are open and available to seekers of any faith or spiritual path. It speaks to those looking for a closer relationship to the Divine and an evolution of consciousness.

If prayer is talking to God, meditation is listening to the answer. The Meditation Practice within Kabbalah is a practical guide to accessing those messages. The ultimate objective of meditation in Jewish tradition is to achieve and maintain a direct connection with God and to reach unification with the light of His presence in the universe through “Devekut”, adhesion to God through direct experience.

Now Available in E-Book

The Meditation Practice within Kabbalah is the result of 25 years of intense study, personal experience, and teaching. The doctrines and practices described in this original work are drawn directly and exclusively from traditional Jewish sources. Both the novice and the experienced meditator will benefit from the variety of practices included in this volume.

“In this bold yet traditional book, Rabbi Steven Fisdel guides the reader step-by-step into the realm of Kabbalistic meditation. Drawing on the imagery and symbolism of Jewish mysticism, he creates contemporary versions of classical meditative techniques such as focusing on the Alef Bet, the names of God and the ten Sefirot.

The author succeeds in making the Kabbalah accessible. He provides tools of transformation: simple, powerful methods for awakening our awareness of the link between the soul and God.”

Daniel C. Matt, Author of The Essential Kabbalah, The Zohar: The Pritzker Edition
